Original Narrative Ideas
The following notes are ideas that my group and I had for our narrative before we decided to look at our narrative in depth. This is a first narrative draft with some ideas being cut from the trailer, and some that stayed the course and are now within the final trailer.
The Narrative Ideas:
- Already living in the house
- Child goes into the shed
- Ancient Jack in the Box, opens in room
- Another demon child being released
- Child is scratched by demon becomes possessed
Notes:
- At night Jack in the Box is opened and turns, whispers heard no visual of a person turning the box or speaking.
- Child is in bed, 'Jack in the box' in room, currently sleeping, then something crawls up the bed sheets slowly towards sleeping child then disappears - child becomes possessed.
- Father possessed as a child
- Shadow of a child not an actual visual of the demon child
Equipment:
- Black contact lenses
- Jack in the Box
Final Narrative:
A family of three living in an isolated area, discover a past demon when Nicholas's past comes back to haunt his family. Uncovering the Jack in the Box releasing the past demon, which causes a horrific experience for young Issac as he becomes drawn to the very box that could take away his soul for ever. With the demonic spirit in control of young Issac's body, there's no stopping the past to catch up with Nicholas and find history repeating its self. The demon causing havoc throughout the family home no one will be safe.
